What to Do Before the Plumber Arrives
If water is spreading, close the main shut-off valve first. In most New Jersey homes it sits on the front foundation wall in the basement, right where the water line comes in from the street. Turn it clockwise until it stops. If the problem is a single fixture, use the small valve under the sink or behind the toilet instead.
For a sewer backup, stop running water anywhere in the house so you do not add to the overflow. If you smell gas, leave the house and call PSE&G or your gas utility before calling us.
Same Day Plumbing Across Middlesex County and Beyond
Our shop is in Parlin, so Sayreville, Old Bridge, East Brunswick, South Amboy, Edison, and Woodbridge are close by. We also cover Union, Essex, Hudson, Monmouth, Somerset, Morris, and Bergen counties for urgent work.
Winter brings its own set of emergencies in New Jersey: frozen and burst pipes, sump pumps that fail during heavy rain or snowmelt, and water heaters that quit on the coldest night of the year. A quick check of your shut-off valve, sump pump, and outdoor spigots in the fall prevents a lot of them.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is a 24 hour plumber available on weekends and holidays?
Yes. We take emergency calls seven days a week, including holidays, and urgent situations get priority.
How much does an emergency plumbing job cost?
It depends on the problem, the time of day, and the parts involved. After-hours rates can apply, but we always give you the price before we start, so you can decide with the full picture.
What counts as a plumbing emergency?
Anything that is actively damaging your property or affecting health and safety: burst pipes, flooding, sewage backing up into the house, a gas smell, or no water at all. A slow drain or a dripping faucet can usually wait for a regular appointment.
What should I do if my pipes freeze?
Open the faucet the pipe feeds so melting water has somewhere to go, then warm the area gently with a space heater or hair dryer. Never use an open flame. If you cannot find the frozen section, or the pipe has already split, shut off the main valve and call us.

What Our Customers Say
Real reviews from our customers on Google, Angi, and Yelp
4 out of 5 stars"Contrary to some of the big brand plumbing agencies that are spread throughout NJ and charge big $$$ for their services, Titan seems to be a smaller individually run business that did the same work with satisfactory results at a considerably lower cost. They took the effort to answer all the questions and concerns without being pushy."
